Oh! I also thought it was a stack books you are sitting on when i saw the small view, but with the stairs it's more original :§

i like it. it reminds me of the cocoon that i feel like i create within the stories. it also feels a little confining, which I sometimes feel because I can only read so much at a time, but there's such a wealth of excellent literature out there. nice!

and i see you and i have the same copy of zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance. :)

amazing!
your're my hero! this is .. wow! ha, you took a picture of a feeling I had in the last time.. this is amazing to see!!!

like on the music picture again the person is trapped.
okay, I'll explain why this is so amazing to me:
I read a looooooot of books, and sometimes all the reading makes me feel like i forget the reality because of them. (just to let you know, I don't read fantasy books ore stuff like this, I read philosophy books, and rather challenging literature.) it's not that I get the feeling of missing the reality, but of missing to LIVE the reality, making my OWN experiences. I just read, and get the feeling of knowing every single experience I could make theoretically, because I read about them, but I do not live them myself.
I know that this is not the truth, for I live, have friends and a social live. but if I spend too much time at once with a book I get this feeling, and I question myself if all the reading is worth it, if it harms me insted of making me smarter.

as someonme else commented before me "books = life" it's not true. it's an important part of MY live, but it isn't allowed to become my life.
but I know my fear about this getting suck in my books.

your picture: the books cover all the stairs, the ways you could go, but the bloyk it, you can't leave anymore. there's only books.
I really enjoyed the kind of fear in your pose, the feet.. I don't know...

ahhhh!!! this AMAZES me! I hope I could make you see why, and sorry about my bad english!
it's just too fantastic to see this feeling exactly in your photo, and .. wow.. it is touching!

A very nice image indeed. I think I'd like to see a little more space at the top of it, your head is causing a bit of tension. I love how the book being open is bouncing light back and lighting your face. Way to go you.

In the small view I thought it was a stack of nothing but books!

Ooo, I just noticed the Game Boy strategy guide at the bottom. I immediately declare you to have excellent taste in books.

Nice shot, and it reminds me that I have a ton of books sitting in my room that I haven't read.
